Quality Ceiling Fans from Kichler Save Energy

Ceiling fans can save energy by recirculating air in a space. In the winter months, fans can help push heated air down from the ceiling into the occupied areas closer to the floor. This reduces the amount of energy needed to keep a space comfortable. In the summer months, fans can replace air conditioning units in living areas by creating a refreshing breeze. We love the Kichler line of ceiling fans due to their quality construction, diverse styles and design flexibility offered by many models. For example. the 300009NI Brushed Nickel 52 in. Structures Fan has reversible blades, maple finish on one side and cherry finish on the other. Also the light component can be covered with an included metal shield if the light is not needed. Ushio Eurosaver 24 Watt MR16 Replaces 35W Lamps

The Ushio Eurosaver energy saving halogen MR-16 lamps allow users the flexibility of choosing an energy saving option or an increased brightness alternative. By replacing existing 35 Watt halogen MR-16 lamps with these new 24W Eurosaver lamps, the user can achieve a 30% reduction in energy demand and usage without sacrificing light output. You can also replace existing standard MR-16 lamps with Eurosaver lamps of the same wattage and achieve a significantly brighter environment without additional energy costs.  The exceptional performance of the Eurosaver lamps is a direct result of USHIO's new advanced filament design as well as a proprietary blend of fill gas. Dramatically improved light output without the need for expensive IR coatings is the result. The use of the multi-layer titanium oxide coated reflector produces consistent color throughout lamp life. Because the Eurosaver lamps are standard halogen light sources, they operate about 30 percent cooler than IR MR-16 lamps that use infrared coatings.

RAB LED Bullet Landscape Light Offers Long Life and Great Performance

The new RAB FLOOD LED bullet flood light landscape fixture includes a spot reflector that can be inserted to narrow the light beam angle. The warm white color temperature mimics the look of a halogen light source, while consuming only 13W of electricity. This LED flood light offers comparable performance to a 75W incandescent or halogen light source. The LED engine is also available in a cool white color temperature, and in an even lower power 10W version. Housing finishes include black, white, green and bronze colors. We think the price point, performance, long life and efficiency of this product makes it an excellent choice for residential and commercial landscaping options.

Gotham Architectural CFL Downlights Offer Efficiency and Performance

GoodMart now carries the Gotham line of architectural round and square aperture recessed downlights available with various one and two lamp CFL configurations. The AF series for general downlight applications that demand high efficiency and superior optical control feature high performance Bounding Ray optics and premium electric components. Providing optimum light control, popular models include the 8 inch aperture 26W CFL open reflector downlight and the 32W version, both with 120-277V universal ballasts.

Dimmable CFL Offer More Shapes and Base Types

9W Dimmable R20 CFL

More and more manufacturers of CFL lamps now provide a wide range of bulb sizes and base types for dimming capable bulbs. This is great news for both businesses and consumers who have been asking for these during the past year. Performance has certainly improved over the years also. Check out the A-shape dimmable CFLs from GoodMart that can be used anywhere a traditional incandescent a-shape bulb was used. They now come with candelabra bases in addition to the standard medium base. These are great for table lamps, wall sconces and ceiling lights.
