Encore UNO LED Edgelit Universal Face 8 in. Red Letters Exit Sign

Encore Lighting set out to make the first fully universal exit sign, and managed to do just that. The Encore UNO LED Exit Sign is universal in every imaginable way - this one box can ship any kind of edge lit exit sign you need.

For starters, it comes out of the box recessed ready. However, if you need a ceiling or wall mounted sign, it is a matter of removing two screws to remove the recess housing. Then, it is as simple as affixing the mounting bracket as needed for mounting the sign on the ceiling or wall.

It also comes with three panels on replaceable hinges; two of the panels say “EXIT” and the third is blank with a mylar reflector to act as a divider. While this seems quite standard, it is the panels themselves which are unique. The arrow signs on the sides of the panels are removable and can be replaced for different directional needs. Simply peel the arrow off and stick another one on for a completely different sign.

When Encore designed this product, they wanted this sign to be as practical as it is functional. It is made with a die cast aluminum housing with a maintenance free NiCad battery backup. It is lit by 10 Ultra bright Piranha LED Illuminators, which emit a nearly 180 degree emitting angle for even illumination. And, should an LED fail, the sign will continue to work.

Cree 6 in. 2700K LED Retrofit Recessed Downlight with Medium Base

Cree developed the CR6 LED Recessed Downlight as a replacement for standard 6 inch downlights. It can be used in both new construction and retrofit scenarios, easily installing into most six inch recessed housings. Sylvania 8 and 12 in. T9 Circline LED Light Engine
